Turns out the full-time cartoonist thing isn’t working. I know, big surprise. I gotta stop chasing crazy dreams. I’ll be returning to a pizza delivery job soon because it’s the only thing I’m able to do without having a total psychological breakdown. Fun. All other comics aside from n00bs are going back into hiatus. Also fun. Maybe some day I’ll come back to the other comics, but I won’t make an announcement about it. I’m done doing that. You’ll just randomly see new updates until it’s time for me to admit I’m a loser and go back to being a pizza slave again. Such is life.
Question for My Followers
Should I cancel the Mysterious Dr. X? I don't know if anyone reads these journals anymore, but feedback would be appreciated here. It seems that I'm only capable of making anything good when someone else writes the script for me (n00bs), I just namedrop or reference better artists than myself (Vaudeville), or outright steal other peoples' characters (Pinkie Pie). My hands are full with a lot of projects and I'd love to see Dr. X actually go somewhere. Heck, I'd like to just get the first stupid issue completed. But considering the amount of work it takes compared to the amount of appreciation it gets, I think it's time for me to just accept I'm a sucky artist who needs to learn his place. But maybe that's just doubt talking. In either case, it would help me out a lot to know if people out there think the comic should continue or I should leave it back in the idea graveyard where it belongs with all the other awful ideas that I wasted too much time on.
